Cute & Sexy Red Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

Only four days for St Valentine’s, I started looking in my wardrobe if there is something cute in red colour for my date with JL.
 
 
I realized, as every year, that my excitement to celebrate this day is way higher than my boyfriend’s. Let me give you a tip, express what you expect to get or do for Valentine’s day, men are not usually good on guessing and actually finding out what we want.
 
 
Traditions and men are not always a good pair. They tend to underestimate the value of important occasions, and care even less about the romantic ones… you know, those we tend idealize in our heads and they don’t really understand.
 
Darling if you want to celebrate Valentine’s day in a certain way, you have to be clear with your man and explicitly ask what you want and share with him your expectations. Same thing with your anniversary, take the lead with the logistics or planification, in general man appreciate that. Clarity is the key to get what you want, and the first step is for you to actually know what you desire and express it in a clear way.
 
In my case, I found a fantastic french restaurant in the city that has a fantastic Valentine’s menu. We tried it three years ago, loved it and I made it an official tradition. JL is happy I am happier and it’s always a lovely romantic evening together. 
 
Men love to feel in control and if there is a plan you can both focus on the romantic side of the celebration.
 
 
Now let’s go back on what to wear. I found some adorable items for a day outfit and some sexier elements to wear in a night date. Red is a very powerful colour, I feel I should wear it much more. Christmas and Valentine’s day are great opportunities to give it a try.
